Traditional and beautiful

Marnhull lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Blackmore Vale. It comprises 7 hamlets with a combination of buildings dating back over 800 years, right up to contemporary developments. With traditional farming steeped in its history, this remains an important element of the village’s day-to-day existence.

Village life for all the family

Young families are constantly moving into the area to take advantage of village activities for toddlers and young children, alongside a good selection of local amenities like the award-winning Robin Hill Stores and a modern GP surgery.  The two pubs, The Crown Inn and Blackmore Vale Inn add a buzz to the village community.

Join up and get involved

Being such a large village offers countless opportunities for clubs and societies from football and cricket to tennis and even a skate park.  Bridge, music and garden societies are well served by The Village Hall, fully equipped with a stage, lighting and surround-sound.  The pavilion is widely used for sporting events.

Looking forward to summer fun

Summer brings the annual and very popular Marnhull Fest (founded originally to celebrate the Millennium) and the Marnhull Show. Bands, entertainment, bars, cafés and side shows bring on the fun with funds raised for local charitable causes.
